A Stress Adviser will be in attendance at Bury Town Hall from 1.30 - 5.30 on Wednesday 4th November for private consultations with council employees.

All employees are being sent an email with hints and tips on how best to manage their pressures and will be sent a Stress Pack on request. The day will be a "dress down" day to enable all staff to enjoy tthe day.

Bury College Complementary Practitioners will be in attendance doing massage and reflexology.

Derbyshire

Devon County Council

Following on from last year's successful event, DCC will be providing "Drop in" clinics in Exeter and Barnstaple. Venues are:

Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council

In the Restaurant at the Councl House 8.30am - 2pm on 4th November, there will be a drop in session involving the In house Heath and Well-being Team, Health and Safety Team and colleagues from Organisational Development to promote Stress Awareness. There will also be a representative from Stress Check Ltd to demonstrate their Bio Dots.

Exeter University

Exeter University are holding a series of Lectures on The History of Stress. These will be held on 29th October at 5pm, 2nd November at 8.30pm and 4th November at 5pm.

ISMA member Katie Porkess will be presenting a 10 minute talk on "Stressing the Positives" as an introduction to the 4th November lecture.
